Got a 5 or 5.5G ipod video that you don’t want to give up, but you do want to make look a little more like your pal’s ipod touch? Well, good news for you comes by way of ipodhacking’s new ipod touch to ipod video interface. This video will guide you into making your ipod the best looking one in the block! Update: If you try ejecting the ipod but you get an “error” message, continue on and safely remove your ipod. Update*: When you plug your ipod into itunes, itunes will ask you to install an update onto it. Click no unless you want your ipod back the way it was. I do not know any solution to this problem other than look for the latest version of ipodwizard. Update***: If writing the firmware to the ipod takes too long, try using a different firmware.     hmm make sure you close itunes and open the program first before inserting your ipod to its usb port. that should work

    That’s because you are installing the wrong generation. If you installed the 5th generation and it didn’t work than you should be installing the 5.5 generation.

    Awkward intro, but informative none the less. Would have been helpful if you hadn’t been so misleading for the first five minutes by using Mac OS X, then saying that it was only for Windows. To some of the previous commenters, I’m sure it would have worked fine if they had made a version of iPod Wizard for the Mac.
